DESCRIPTION
A stone and tile house of traditional design with rooms leading from a wood and tiled corridor next to an ample, plant filled patio. The house nestles in dense vegetation and access is via a 200 m. stepped path leading up from the nearest car parking space. The large living room area has been divided to provide a light double bedroom. Island ceramic pieces decorate the house, together with other traditional elements like the oven in the kitchen. The views from the patio are of practically the whole valley of La Palmita and the little San Isidro church.

SITUATION
The hamlet of La Palmita is scattered along both sides of the valley and is only 1.5 kms from the Visitors Centre at Juego de Bolas (a must for anyone wanting information on the Garajonay National Park). Handicrafts from the island can be bought from the Los Organos cooperative there.
