DESCRIPTION
|
|
A typical Canarian house with with large wooden-framed windows and plenty of natural light all day. The thick stone walls maintain a pleasant temperature all year round.
From the terrace, there are wonderful views of the surrounding landscape; the cultivated terraces of fruit and vegetables, a panaramic view of the oldest buildings of Vallehermoso and the famous natural monument, the Roque Cano.
The interior has been very tastefully decorated with a subtle mix of traditional rustic and comfortable furniture. There are numerous pieces of original arts and crafts, both from La Gomera and by local artists. The rooms are large and all have beautiful views.
The overall atmosphere of this house is one of space, natural light, warmth, tranquility and comfort.

Access to the house is via a pretty flower-lined path which links the town centre with El Palmar. Also along this path is the house of the famous Canarian poet, Pedro Garcia Cabrera. This location is excellent as it is in a quiet area, yet only a few minutes walk to the town centre.
