The interior is small but the space is well distributed. It is ideal for people who want to be close to the south of the island without having the noise and bustle of the beach area. A few metres away lies the sister house, Don Pedro II, of similar age and architecture, but with many different characteristics. On clear days, there are wonderful panoramic views of the sea and of the island of El Hierro.

Situated next to the town square and the Church of Salvador (XVII century) and in front of the Town Hall. There are a wealth of things that visitors can enjoy from this area, such as walking in Garajonay National Park, to swim and sunbathe in Playa Santiago, buy fresh fish in the Port of Santiago, and all within a short distance of each other.
