This was originally the property of the now owners´ grandfather, after whom the house is named. The grandfather´s old office is now a large bedroom. Many original details have been restored in the interior of this house, like the windows and doors. The door-handles are the originals and an old wooden larder has been restored as a wardrobe.At the back of the house, there is a covered patio containing many plants and banana trees from the farm. Here visitors can relax and enjoy the tranquillity that this house offers.

The house is almost entirely surrounded by banana trees, the main farming product of the area. Access is easy and via a old stone path that directly to the garden. This area is very quiet and in the immediate vicinity there is only the other part of the same house, which is not occupied at the moment.There are excellent walking paths nearby: to the beach at La Caleta, El Palmar and Juel.
