A very peaceful house nestling in the Sabina trees that grow around the village providing a pleasing contrast to the many brown tones of the surrounding land. The house is on the higher part of a small mountain reached by a path leading to the ample open space around the house. The property was formerly a school boarding house, built to accomodate children from the more isolated hamlets during the school year and offers spacious accommodation. The main feature of the interior is the large living-dining room and kitchen; ideal for leisure activies. The bedrooms are perfectly equipped with woodern, rustic-style furniture and have heating, very welcome during the cooler winter months.

The entire hamlet of Epina is inside the area denominated "Preparque Nacional" and is totally peaceful, full of contrasts and sparcely populated. From the house, the famous "Chorros de Epina", can be reached on foot. Other scenic footpaths take the walker to the Monumento Natural of Lomo de Carretón and the Parque Rural de la Merica.
