The area of Arguamul was, until the end of the 18th century, one of the most prosperous areas in the municipality of Vallehermoso when all the small villages in the area were largely occupied with cereal farming. Apart from the individual dwellings, it´s more the overall impression of the buildings and their great aesthetic worth as Gomeran popular architecture, that is noteworthey with features such as communal wine presses and old clay ovens. Casa Arguamul is an good example of a well renovated house. A large porch provides access to the different rooms which, although not large, are perfectly proportioned and lack not the tiniest detaial to make them comfortable and well-decorated. Part of the accommodation is closed, which is for private use! From the patio and the surrounding area, views of La Palma and El Hierro can be enjoyed with spectacular sunsets. At a short distance from the house, swimming and fishing can be enjoyed.
